Jaak Siim lecturing about amendments to Income Tax Act
On 26 October 2018, LEADELL Pilv partner Jaak Siim is giving a lecture „ Amendments to Income Tax Act – new rules against tax avoidance practices“ at the seminar organised by accounting news portal Raamatupidamisuudised.
The Estonian Ministry of Finance has drafted amendments to the Income Tax Act aimed at taking over the Council Directive (EU) 2016/1164 which is laying down rules against tax avoidance practices that directly affect the functioning of the internal market. Upon enforcement of the referred amendments, it will become possible to implement several new measures to prevent the undermining of tax base and the shifting of untaxed profit out of the internal market. The seminar provides a thorough overview of the measures entering into force next year.
