Attorney-at-law Pirkka-Marja Põldvere attending international arbitration conferences
Attorney-at-law and partner Pirkka-Marja Põldvere of the LEADELL Pilv Law Office as one of the best arbitration specialists in Estonia is attending two arbitration events this week.
Today Pirkka is at the Helsinki International Arbitration Day in Finland, organised by the Arbitration Institute of the Finland Chamber of Commerce. This year the main theme of the conference is „Taking a Close Look at Today’s Arbitral Process and Who Pays for It“ and presentations are given by many well-known practitioners around Europe.
Tomorrow, on 19 May 2017, Pirkka is attending the 3rd International Arbitration Conference organised by the Arbitration Court of the Estonian Chamber of Commerce and Industry. Arbitral processes in Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Russia, Finland and Sweden are presented and analysed at the conference as well as the legal requirements for arbitral processes, recognition and enforcement of arbitral court decisions. The main focus is on the enforcement of decisions and the topics of requesting preliminary decision from the European Court, securing an action in cross-border disputes and cross-border collection of evidences are also discussed.
