Attorney-at-law Pirkka-Marja Põldvere had a job shadow – a cheerful, bright-eyed girl from the 11th grade of Rakvere State Gymnasium, who is thinking of studying law and wanted to see what laywer life is like. On most days, attorneys job shadow would have had to watch me typing up procedural documents and e-mails (i.e., sitting at my computer), but today she got to spend 3 hours in court listening to the parties’ arguments and the court’s explanations. Whereas thankfully it was a hearing where the court’s clear and concrete management of the proceedings was particularly evident (not always). Pirkka- Marja job shadow thought it was an emotional hearing. To Pirkka-Marja, however, it seemed like a completely calm exchange of views; sometimes there are much more emotions at a hearing.
Good luck, dear job shadow!
Thank you for coming!
