Oleg Matvejev, an attorney-at-law at LEADELL Pilv Law Office, will conduct a training on March 30, 2026, at the Eesti Koolitus- ja Konverentsikeskuses on the topic of the European Union’s new Pay Transparency Directive.
The Council of the European Union adopted the Pay Transparency Directive on April 24, 2023. The directive aims to ensure that women and men receive equal pay for work of equal value. The requirements of the directive must be transposed into Estonian law by June 7, 2026.
Participants in the training will learn:
- Which employers will be subject to the reporting obligation and what exactly this obligation entails
- What obligations the directive imposes on employers and what new rights employees will gain under the directive
- What changes the directive brings regarding the disclosure of remuneration (salaries).
