LEADELL Pilv’s expert lines are expanding!
We are happy to announce that an attorney Annika Veisson has joined LEADELL Pilv Law Office as of 07.09.2020. Annika’s main practice areas include litigation, corporate law and taxation. In addition, she has considerable experience in cryptocurrency related legal issues, including data protection, financing, information technology, investments, banking, as well as related white-collar crimes. She has advised clients on the creation of internet portals, virtual currency platforms and exchanges, prepared relevant documentation and applied for licenses from the Estonian Financial Intelligence Unit and the Estonian Financial Supervision Authority. Annika has provided compliance officer services to licensed companies, represented clients in court in cases related to tokens and cryptocurrency, and advised on taxation of cryptocurrency.
Before starting work-life in several smaller law firms, Annika graduated the law faculty of the University of Tartu, defending her master´s thesis on the topic “Advance Pricing Arrangements (APA) as a solution of problem in transfer pricing and custom duties in Estonia.” With this master thesis, she won third place in the tax research competition organized by Estonian Taxpayer´s Union. As part of her studies, Annika has also analyzed public-private partnership related issues.
