The court rejected the prosecutor&#8217;s argument that the district court had failed to previously consider and evaluate &#8220;facts and evidence that undermined the defense and the court&#8217;s version of events&#8221;. According to the Court, the evidence collected in the case did not establish an inequitable bribery arrangement, i.e. an equivalence relationship between the alleged briber and the alleged bribe taker.
