The article is covering legal and evidential problems occurring with the loss of goods, and the related responsibility.<\/p>\n<p>Upon concluding a sales contract, the purchaser usually presumes receiving the agreed amount of goods with the desired quality, while the seller is interested is receiving fair price for the goods.<\/p>\n<p>However, this simple mechanism sometimes fails to work. In practice the cases are common where by the time of delivery a part of the goods is deteriorated, damaged, lost or even stolen. The question of whether the purchaser is subject to pay for the goods even if failing to receive the whole package is a significant legal problem relating to sales contracts which may cause various disputes.
