The standpoint of the authors is that the state as a major shareholder of Estonian Air should be a role model in treating employees. At the same time the notices submitted to the employees indicate questionable measures for termination of employment contracts and ungrounded requests to satisfy claims in cash. The article provides a reminder for employers for correct behaviour in a redundancy situation.
